Coach opened its workshop in 1941 making men’s small leather goods, and women’s handbags came later before growing into the core of the brand. These days, coach handbags run from tailored shoulder bags and slouchy hobos to satchels, carryalls, crossbodies and reissues from the archive. In turn, this overview sets out what each main bag is, when it arrived and how it is built. When a launch date is documented, it is noted; several well-known lines, though, have no reliable launch year on record.
Rather than being taken from an official price list, the prices below are observed market prices from 2026, and size, material and promotions all affect them. Anyone choosing a first coach bag should know that closely matching names can refer to very different designs. Some buyers type «couch bag» when running a search for a Coach bag, which can draw furniture listings into the results because that word also means a sofa.
Carrying detachable straps and Signature «C» hardware, the Tabby is a structured shoulder bag which can be worn crossbody too. It arrived under Stuart Vevers in 2019, modeling it on a shape from Coach’s 1970s archive. Fashion photographer Juergen Teller is reported to have shot its launch campaign, «Dream It Real». The main product name is Tabby Shoulder Bag, and sizes coach sandals 20, 26 and 36 have appeared in listings.
Titles such as Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 With Pillow Quilting refer to the puffy Pillow Tabby, which followed in 2021. Observed prices for the Tabby 26 stood at $475 in the US and £475 in the UK; quilted and special-edition versions cost more. Because it shifts easily between shoulder and crossbody wear, it suits buyers who want one bag for both day and evening.
The Brooklyn is a soft, slouchy coach shoulder bag in natural-grain leather, much more akin to a hobo than to the structured Tabby. Having appeared on the Fall 2024 runway, it was released in August 2024. The Brooklyn 28 and the bigger Brooklyn 39 are the two main sizes that have been reported. The 39 is described as roomy enough for a 15-inch laptop, which makes it a practical work bag.
Not to be confused with the shoulder styles, a newer Brooklyn Carryall shape was reported for Spring 2026. The Brooklyn 28 was observed at £350 at John Lewis in the UK. When The RealReal’s 2025 resale report said searches for Coach had risen 160%, the Brooklyn was one of the bags cited, though that figure tracks searches rather than resale prices.
Designed with top handles and a shoulder strap, the Rogue is Coach’s firmly structured satchel. Introduced on the Fall 2016 runway, the bag was subsequently discontinued; a 2021 relaunch brought it back. At the upper end of Coach’s leather range, the line offers versions in regenerative leather and exotic skins. With an observed price of $8,000, a Rogue 25 in alligator set the highest Coach bag price observed in 2026.
Coach also provides a Made-to-Order Rogue, which has reportedly taken around 12 weeks, or around 16 weeks with exotic materials. By way of Coach (Re)Loved, the brand’s own resale and repair program, restored Rogue bags have also been offered. The Rogue shows, for many collectors, how far upmarket Coach craftsmanship can reach.
The Empire Carryall is a long, east-west top-handle bag using the product name Empire Carryall Bag 34. Its release came in February 2025, in the wake of being shown on Coach’s Fall 2024 runway. Fashion press reports said, it sold out on its release day. Softer-bodied variants called Soft Empire, including a Soft Empire 40, are separate styles from the structured Carryall 34.
On Coach’s own website in the UK, the Empire Carryall 34 was observed at £475. Thanks to its long top-handle shape, it makes a smarter alternative to a coach tote bag for daily carrying. As 34 and 40 are different bags, anyone comparing listings should look closely at the number after the name.

Modeled on vintage coin purses, the frame clasp named Kisslock is a detail that Coach associates with the Bonnie Cashin era. The word is shared by a number of different bags, which should not be confused. Reportedly the opening look of the Fall 2026 show, the Kisslock Frame Bag in glovetanned leather was observed selling for $350. The family may predate that show, given that earlier Kisslock Frame versions show up in listings too.
Featuring quilted nappa leather and rivets, the Kisslock Dreamer 21 is an older style, today found mainly as restored or upcrafted pieces through Coach (Re)Loved. For its Spring 2026 season, Coach Originals reissued a 1973 design as the Kisslock Barrel Bag. The name picked up yet another use as a Kisslock Backpack was also shown for Fall 2026.
Styles from The Coach Originals are new rather than vintage: the line is built on newly made reissues of archive designs. Coach traces the original Swinger design back to 1987; the bag is a short-strap, zip-top shoulder bag fitted with a turnlock. Today’s version is the Swinger Bag 20, which is also offered With Chain and in Signature canvas or jacquard. The Swing Zip is a separate Coach Originals bag drawn from a 1998 design, so the two names are not one and the same.
The Safari Bag from 1968, the Dinky from 1974 and the Hamptons Hobo from 2005 were among the other Originals reported in early 2025. Reports suggest that the Coach Originals name was already in circulation by 2020. The line fits buyers who want an archive look without the wear of a properly vintage piece.
Covering three different products, Soho is among the most confusing names in the Coach catalog. As far back as 2006, the original Soho Flap made its debut. Produced in materials such as glovetanned leather, patent leather and crystal jacquard, the Soho Bag 25 is a smaller, newer reissue and not that 2006 bag. A Soho Flap Bag in regenerative leather has also been listed, and Soho styles sit within The Coach Originals.
Unlike the two bags, the Soho Sneaker is footwear that Coach has featured in 2025 and 2026, and it is grouped with shoes and coach clothing rather than handbags. To separate the bags from the shoe, try adding «Bag 25» or «Flap» to a search. No reliable current price for the Soho bags was captured, so look at Coach’s own website before buying.
None of these three lines has a documented launch year, well known as they are, so be wary of any date you see online. The Willow Tote 24, a Willow Shoulder bag and a Willow Bucket have all been part of Willow, a family in pebble leather. Coach’s own website has also offered a Custom Willow Tote, and the Willow Tote 24 is a simple example of a coach tote bag. The Cassie Crossbody Bag 19, featuring a Signature turnlock and interchangeable straps, is part of Cassie, a crossbody and top-handle design.
Using newer style codes, Cassie styles remain listed on Coach’s own website. Juliet is a relaxed shoulder bag in glovetanned leather, sold in versions such as the Juliet Shoulder Bag 25 and the Pocket Juliet Bag 30. Before relying on an older review, confirm whether a given Willow, Cassie or Juliet style is still current, since availability changes by season.
In the table below, the main lines are grouped with their shape, key date and an observed 2026 price if one was reliably captured. Rather than figures from an official Coach price list, these are observed market prices that can vary with size, material, color and promotions. UK prices include VAT, whereas US prices exclude sales tax. During sales, full-price styles can be marked down; at the same time, a coach outlet runs its own promotions on outlet styles.
Outlet shops and an official online outlet section on Coach’s own website together make up Coach Outlet, and this is Coach’s own official channel. Roughly 85% of outlet merchandise was made specifically for the outlet channel, based on a 2014 quote from Coach’s head of investor relations. Tapestry has since talked about bringing some full-price collection product into outlets, and the figure itself is dated. A full-price coach store or Coach’s own website remains the place to shop for current-season lines.
